Client Growth Executive – Commercial Insurance

Job summary

Hylant seeks a Client Executive in Elkhart, IN to develop and grow a book of commercial insurance business. You will manage current clients, proactively identify new opportunities, schedule presentations, and lead renewal conversations to expand cross-sell and retention.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of insurance brokerage sales, an active P&C license, and strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven insurance brokerage sales experience.
• Solid foundation of Hylant sales and client service methodology.
• Active Property & Casualty License.
• Detailed working knowledge of industry resources, benchmarking, agency management and risk management.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings and events.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Establish sales development plans to originate business with new clients.
• Build and maintain a book of business and grow it yearly.
• Generate sales leads through prospecting, cold calls, networking and cross selling.
• Develop, maintain and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
• Schedule and conduct sales presentations for new business.
• Manage the client renewal process and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Co-lead a book of business with a Managing Partner and drive retention and growth.
• Represent Hylant at trade and industry events.
• Negotiate commissions and fees per pricing guidelines.
