Job summary

Hylant is seeking a Client Service Manager to provide external support for a mid-to-large market commercial book of business, typically $750K–$1.5MM. You will oversee client service needs, renewals, onboarding, and relationship-building with clients, carriers, and internal teams to promote long-term partnerships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance client service, a Property & Casualty license, and a track record of strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field; or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of insurance client service experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license.
• CIC or CRM designation encouraged.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead service contact for the assigned book of business and oversee client service needs.
• Manage client renewals, ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Onboard new clients with accurate file and agency management data.
• Maintain 96%+ client retention and pursue growth within the book of business.
• Strengthen relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assess risks, identify coverage gaps, and design cost-effective P&C solutions.
• Lead Client Engagement Strategy (CES) for assigned clients.
• Provide backup support across service levels when needed.
