Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our Olympia branch. You will perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, balance the cash drawer, and support daily branch operations onsite.

You will build client relationships, identify financial needs, and offer appropriate products and services while staying compliant with bank policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail in both written and verbal tasks.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and cash handling accurately and confidentially.
• Balance cash drawer and support daily branch tasks.
• Mitigate risk through safekeeping of money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Engage clients, assess needs, and offer suitable bank products and services.
• Support branch referral goals by identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
