Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union in North Carolina seeks an Account Manager I to support personal insurance accounts, processing service requests, endorsements, and policy changes with accuracy and timely follow-up.

You will coordinate with clients, carriers, and Insurance Agents, identify coverage needs, and help connect clients with an Insurance Agent for guidance, while maintaining current knowledge of rating products and agency processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of insurance customer service experience or equivalent financial services experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for professionals to clients, carriers, and internal partners.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management to track items and meet policy service deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Responsibilities

• Manage policy service requests from intake through completion, including binders, endorsements, coverage changes, cancellations, premium follow up, and requests for additional information.
• Keep clients, carriers, and agency partners informed through timely correspondence, organized follow up, and documentation of conversations and policy activity.
• Identify potential coverage needs, increased limits, referrals, and cross-sell opportunities, then connect clients with an Insurance Agent for guidance and next steps.
• Maintain current knowledge of rating products and agency processes, participate in training and development, and assist with projects that strengthen the overall client experience.
