Job summary

J&J Truck Bodies is looking for a customer-focused professional to support customers, distributors, municipalities, and the outside sales team. You will develop quotes, recommend products and sourced equipment, and coordinate order details with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing, ensuring accurate delivery timelines.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and problem-solving, with attention to pricing, specifications, and lead-time management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2–5 years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mathematical skills including discounts, percentages, area, volume, and capacity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotations for manufactured and sourced products.
• Recommend appropriate J&J products and sourced equipment.
• Coordinate order details and provide responsive customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection based on application and capacity.
• Obtain vendor pricing and availability for equipment.
• Participate in contract and order reviews to confirm specs and lead times.
• Provide estimated delivery dates and communicate schedule changes.
