Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an account manager to coordinate service activities for commercial lines clients with revenue under $5,000. You will be the primary contact, develop strong client relationships, and present insurance options tailored to client needs.

You will educate clients on policy changes, manage renewal workflows to prevent lapses, and assist with claims reporting. Strong communication and knowledge of P&C insurance are required in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• College degree preferred.
• Must hold a Property and Casualty license.
• Industry designation or willingness to pursue courses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service activities for commercial lines clients.
• Serve as primary contact and maintain client relationships.
• Educate clients on policy changes, coverages, and trends.
• Respond to client and carrier requests promptly.
• Manage renewal workflow to avoid lapses.
• Negotiate renewals with carrier guidelines.
• Prepare insurance proposals and summaries.
• Assist clients with claims reporting.
• Adhere to credit and collection policy.
• Maintain client accounts per USI guidelines.
• Keep current on industry info and trends.
