Job summary

Citi in the Bronx, NY, is hiring a full-time Branch Sales Associate to support consumer sales and service at the branch. You will assist with basic account openings and resolve service issues while driving sales opportunities within the branch.

Role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. You will follow bank policies, participate in seminars and campaigns, and help maintain compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transaction and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold firm reputation, and escalate/report control issues with transparency.
