Job summary

Citi in Bronx, NY is seeking a Personal Banker SAFE Act entry level to assist in sales, products and service activities with the customer service team. You will help grow relationships with individual consumer clients and support branch staff.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of relevant experience, basic banking knowledge, and strong communication skills. This role emphasizes risk awareness, compliance with Citi policies, and cross-selling opportunities in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience required or preferred
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant

Responsibilities

• Work with consumer credit requests under $250K; refer larger opportunities and cross-sell treasury products
• Build referral business through COIs and MGM program
• Assist in growth strategies for small business clients and sales plans
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships through cross-sell
• Coach branch staff on products and programs, identify client needs and provide referrals
• Educate clients on service and digital channels; present product offers and financial solutions
