Job summary

Citi in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to support sales and service activities within a branch. You will assist with basic account openings, resolve service issues, and execute transactions according to bank policies.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong written and verbal communication. This part-time role includes Citi benefits and opportunities to build customer relationships and sales.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch through seminars and campaigns.
• Adhere to operational controls and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues with transparency.
