Job summary

Truist Knoxville is seeking a reliable teller to provide timely client transactions and accurate recordkeeping, while delivering a high-quality service experience. You will handle complex and standard transactions and identify client financial needs.

The role emphasizes digital education for customers, outbound outreach, and adherence to internal controls and risk policies. It requires weekend/extended hours availability and travel as needed to support staffing and branch operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation
• Ability to multitask under time constraints
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and to work weekends/extended hours

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling both complex and standard transactions
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking)
• Support sales through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions
• Participate in Tram Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines
• Pursue ongoing product knowledge through training and learning
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on policy changes
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution, handling workload based on branch needs
