Job summary

SmartBank is seeking a customer-focused Teller to join our branch team in Alabama. You will greet clients, process routine transactions, and assist with account inquiries while upholding security and confidentiality. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to bank policies.

The position requires a high school diploma with preference for an associate degree, and at least one year of banking or sales experience. Weekend availability is common at our branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.

• Proficiency with standard personal computer software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and direct them to branch staff as needed.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions with accuracy.
• Assist with account maintenance requests and inquiries.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with ATM balancing.
• Adhere to all banking policies and regulatory requirements.
