Responsibilities

• Builds, maintains, and grows customer relationships through quality, personalized interactions and excellent service.
• Identifies customer needs and makes appropriate referrals through outstanding service.
• Handles deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, credit card advances, and other negotiable items.
• Safeguards bank assets and ensures security while processing transactions accurately.
• Maintains and balances a cash drawer with extensive cash handling.
• Responds to service charge questions, account maintenance, or research requests.
• Keeps knowledge of processes, products, and services offered by the bank.
• Verifies endorsements, identification, validity, and counterfeit currency.
• Evaluates checks for funds availability per regulatory requirements and notifies holds as needed.
• Greets the public professionally, reinforcing United Bank’s service standards.
• Assists in managing operational loss with supervisory overrides and proper holds for loss mitigation.
• Uses equipment accurately and maintains familiarity with its functionality.
• May mentor peers, providing guidance and training on policy and procedures.
• Adheres to professionalism in demeanor, dress, and station orderliness.
• Complies with applicable banking laws and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
