Qualifications

• Six months of related cash handling and customer interaction experience.
• Excellent customer service skills based on prior experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting; ability to balance and review numerical information.
• Ability to count and handle cash accurately.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits by receiving checks and cash for deposit, verify the deposit amount, examine the checks for needed endorsements and request any required identification.
• Cash checks and pay out funds to clients after verifying signatures and funds availability.
• Provide clients with transaction receipts and balance the daily cash drawer.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer clients to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Identify and report suspicious transaction activity and potential security threats.
• Operate computer terminal or PC to process account activity and resolve problems within authority.
