Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at the Colfax branch. You will perform routine teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality while deepening client relationships and uncovering financial needs.

Guided by the Branch Manager, you’ll balance the cash drawer, process deposits and withdrawals, and refer customers to suitable bank products. This onsite role offers competitive pay and benefits in Colfax, WA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers and instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with ATM operations and night drops.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients, identify needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
