Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients, performing accurate banking transactions and maintaining confidentiality. You will strengthen client relationships through meaningful conversations, uncover needs, and offer appropriate products and services.

This onsite role requires attention to detail and adherence to policies. The position emphasizes compliance, risk mitigation, and teamwork with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written instructions.
• Able to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing).
• Balance cash drawer and balance ATM as applicable; process night drop deposits and related tasks.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Engage clients to identify financial needs and refer suitable bank products to the business partner.
