Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance as a Service (FaaS) Supervisor to manage month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting for private, middle-market clients with real estate assets under management from $50M to $200B.

You will interact with client executives, oversee a team, and leverage a cloud-based tech stack to deliver accurate financial statements, analysis, and process improvements within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience with property-level accounting and finance functions.
• Experience with property managers to explain variances.
• Expertise in Real Estate technology systems (Yardi, MRI, etc.).
• Excellent communication across all organizational levels.
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for client Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Month End Close cycles.
• Lead, manage and coach client services representatives and senior associates.
• Support the client's month end close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare/Review monthly financial statements with variance analysis and budget-vs-actual.
• Analyze financial information and provide actionable insight for client management.
• Identify opportunities to improve month end close efficiencies and processes.
