RSM US LLP is seeking a Supervisor level professional for our Finance as a Service practice. You will manage month-end close, financial reporting, and budget support for private middle-market clients, using cloud tech and a collaborative team.

You’ll interact with client executives and drive value through financial insights. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and adopting new technologies like OCR/AI while delivering high-quality service across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities with strong analytical and decision making skills.
• Progressive experience in accounting and financial management in a corporate accounting environment (supervisor/assistant controller/controller/Dir. of finance/CFO).
• Strong technical financial accounting (GAAP) knowledge.
• Strong management accounting and operational finance knowledge.
• Experience in FP&A functions (modeling, budgeting and forecasting, analysis).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with automated accounting systems (Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, Tallie).
• CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for client Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Month End Close cycles.
• Lead, manage and coach client services representatives and associates.
• Support client month end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare/review monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial information for management and provide actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance monthly operations and suggest improvements.
• Understand our technology stack and identify add-on processes and integrations.
• Define and document repeatable methodologies with tools and templates.
• Establish engagement budgets and onboarding of new clients.
• Participate in meetings with client prospects and proposals.
