Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Senior Associate in our Real Estate Finance as a Service (FaaS) practice in Denver, CO. You will work on month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for private middle-market clients with real estate assets ranging from $50M to $200B.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with property-level accounting, and familiarity with Yardi or MRI. You will interact with clients' C-suite and other professionals, leveraging cloud-based technology and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in property-level accounting/finance functions.
• Experience with property managers to resolve issues and explain variances.
• Experience with Real Estate tech systems (Yardi, MRI, etc.) required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with engagement team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach client services representatives and associates.
• Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and year-end audit support.
• Review monthly journal entries for various accounts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variances.
• Provide actionable insights and decision support to client management.
• Identify process improvements to enhance month-end close efficiencies.
• Document repeatable methodologies and integrate with tech stack.
