Job summary

Microboard is seeking a Program Manager in Seymour, CT to manage customer accounts and programs in a contract manufacturing environment. You will drive cost reductions, improve lead-time, quality, and schedule, and act as the primary customer liaison with internal stakeholders.

The role requires deep knowledge of program management, Lean practices, and cross-functional leadership across procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined experience in business management, engineering, operations and/or procurement.
• Bachelor Degree in like areas of experience; Bachelor level education required.
• Fundamental understanding of Contract Manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing Services; knowledge of Medical Device or regulated industry preferred.
• Fluent in Enterprise Material Planning systems; preferably BaaN.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Knowledgeable in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial, operational, and commercial performance of assigned customers and programs within cost limitations.
• Act as primary customer contact for status and performance communications.
• Lead the negotiation and administration of contracts.
• Develop and monitor program milestones and master plans.
• Coordinate and lead critical operational meetings and reviews.
• Manage risks and drive resolution of issues impacting program delivery.
