Microboard Processing, Inc. in Seymour, CT is seeking a Buyer to manage supply chain activities and partner with Program Management to meet production deadlines. You will purchase materials, monitor POs, and drive inventory accuracy while pursuing cost savings and KPI targets.

The role requires experience with MRP/ERP systems and a bachelor's degree in business or engineering, with 3–5 years of related experience. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP system.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is desirable.
• 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Work with Program Management to manage the supply chain for multiple customer programs.
• Purchase materials and services to support operations.
• Monitor open POs and expediting material shortages to balance inventory.
• Proactively address material issues to protect production.
• Support cost reduction and program margin improvements.
• Manage excess material to meet quoted goals with Program Management.
• Manage MRO Purchase Orders including consigned material.
• Coordinate inventory availability and production schedule information across departments.
