Cognizant is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with clients and rapidly design, build, and deploy AI, data, cloud, and digital solutions. You will guide architectural decisions, deliver cloud-native apps, and lead solution delivery across client initiatives in a flexible remote US role.

This role emphasizes strong client-facing skills, architectural leadership, and expertise in AI/ML, microservices, and enterprise integrations, with opportunities to impact multiple industries.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, customer-facing engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience developing cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, enterprise integrations, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting engagements.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and driving projects from concept through production deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into scalable solution architectures.
• Lead discovery workshops, assessments, and envisioning sessions to create implementation roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Build AI solutions including Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML, and RAG, including AI copilots and autonomous agents.
• Own technical delivery across client initiatives, ensuring rapid iteration, production readiness, and measurable outcomes.
