Cognizant is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with clients and rapidly design, build, and deploy AI, data, cloud, and digital solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping accelerate digital transformation with modern cloud architectures and enterprise integrations. This role emphasizes client-facing delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or consulting experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, C#, JS/TS, or Go.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including APIs and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and drive production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into architectures.
• Lead discovery workshops and solution envisioning sessions for scalable roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Build AI/ML/RAG solutions, including AI copilots and intelligent workflows.
• Own technical delivery across client initiatives, driving adoption and outcomes.
