Cognizant is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with clients and rapidly design, build, and deploy AI, data, cloud, and digital solutions. You will lead architecture discussions and deliver cloud-native APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

This role emphasizes client-facing leadership, solution envisioning, and delivering measurable business outcomes, with a remote work option for qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, customer-facing engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand objectives and translate to scalable architectures.
• Lead discovery workshops and solution envisioning sessions.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps, APIs, and microservices.
• Build Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML, and RAG solutions with AI copilots and autonomous agents.
