Job summary

Epiq eDiscovery Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Forward-Deployed Legal Engineer to tailor our AI-powered platform to real client environments. You will lead POC kickoff to go-live, configure workflows reflecting how clients’ lawyers work, train users, and prove value against success criteria.

You’ll collaborate with Legal Solutions Engineer, Customer Success Managers, and Engineering from our New York office as you serve clients across regions, including EMEA and APAC.

Qualifications

• US JD or US LLM required with active or prior US bar membership.
• 2-8+ years of legal practice, preferably in litigation.
• Hands-on experience with real legal workflows and direct client contact.
• Working knowledge of Relativity, DISCO, iManage, Westlaw, and Lexis, and TAR.
• Fluency with technology: ability to write simple scripts and prompt LLMs.

Responsibilities

• POC Delivery: Run POCs against agreed success criteria and keep each one on scope and on schedule.
• Workflow Configuration: Build legal workflows and playbooks that reflect how each client's lawyers actually work, ready before the client's first matter.
• Legal Expertise: Serve as the legal expert in each engagement, applying the law and procedure to the client's work and advising on defensibility of outputs.
• Deployment: Take each client from POC to go-live, coordinating with Engineering on integrations.
• User Training: Train associates, review teams, and other day-to-day users during each POC.
• Issue Resolution: Identify client issues early and resolve with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success Managers.
• Voice of the Client: Gather client feedback and turn into use cases and user stories shaping the product roadmap.
