Epiq Systems, Inc. seeks a Forward‑Deployed Legal Engineer to integrate our AI-powered platform into real-world legal teams. You’ll lead clients from POC kickoff to go‑live, configuring workflows the client’s lawyers actually use and training users to achieve measurable value.

You’ll collaborate with Legal Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Engineering, traveling to client sites as needed and translating field learnings into product direction for regional deployments.

Qualifications

• US JD/LLM with bar membership (required).
• 2–8+ years of legal practice, ideally in litigation.
• Hands-on experience with real legal workflows and client contact.
• Familiar with Relativity, DISCO, iManage, Westlaw, Lexis, TAR.
• Fluent with technology: scripting, prompting LLMs, and analyzing outputs.
• Daily use of AI in work with examples ready for interview.
• Ability to redesign workflows with lawyers and engineers.
• Strong communication with lawyers and engineers; explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• POC Delivery: run POCs to scope and schedule.
• Workflow Configuration: build client-specific legal workflows.
• Legal Expertise: apply law and procedures to ensure defensible outputs.
• Deployment: take client from POC to go-live with engineering.
• User Training: train associates and review teams during POC.
• Issue Resolution: identify client issues and resolve with teams.
• Voice of the Client: collect feedback and shape product roadmap.
