Job summary

Epiq AI Labs in New York seeks a Forward-Deployed Legal Engineer to embed our platform in real legal teams, from POC kickoff to go-live. You’ll configure workflows and train users, collaborating with Legal Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, and Engineering to prove value against success criteria.

We require a US legal credential (JD/LLM with bar) and 2–8+ years in litigation, plus comfort with AI tools; some on-site client work across regions is expected.

Qualifications

• US JD or US LLM with foreign law degree and bar membership.
• 2–8+ years of litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience with real legal workflows and client contact.
• Familiar with Relativity, DISCO, iManage, Westlaw, and Lexis; TAR knowledge.
• Comfort with scripting and prompt LLMs for output evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Run POCs against agreed success criteria.
• Configure legal workflows reflecting client lawyers’ practices.
• Serve as the legal expert; apply law and procedures relevant to each engagement.
• Collaborate with Engineering on integrations.
• Train client associates, review teams, and other users during POC.
• Identify and resolve client issues with cross-functional teams.
• Take over use-case ownership at go-live and hand off to Customer Success.
• Capture client feedback to shape the product roadmap.
