Job summary

Observe.AI in Redwood City, CA is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI Agents, from design to deployment and optimization. You will build prompts, configure workflows, and integrate with CRMs and telephony systems, while engaging customers through demos and technical guidance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in conversational AI, strong Python/JavaScript skills, and hands-on experience with SIP, Twilio, and LLM platforms such as LangChain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years delivering AI/LLM-based solutions in customer environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and demos experience.
• Hands-on skills in prompt design, workflow building and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI Agents including prompt design and workflow configuration.
• Lead client demos, gather feedback, and guide solutions from concept to production.
• Configure integrations with CRMs, knowledge bases and enterprise tools.
• Set up SIP/CCaaS/PSTN routing and ensure call quality.
• Design and optimize prompts; monitor performance and testing.
• Translate customer requirements into practical AI solutions; assist security/ingestion issues.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to address platform gaps and drive client implementations.
