Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Account Coordinator in Downers Grove, IL to provide high-quality service to customers, interact with sales reps and production teams, and manage orders with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include handling order status, coordinating with AR for payment disputes, and delivering feedback on service issues while maintaining detailed records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year in a customer service environment
• Strong customer orientation and commitment to service excellence
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact across all levels of the company
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; previous data entry experience required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate information about customer order status and product inquiries
• Process customer orders, changes, and returns according to department policies
• Coordinate with accounts receivable to resolve payment disputes
• Deliver feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
• Partner with Sales Representatives to exceed customer service expectations
• Prioritize a fluctuating workload and manage multiple accounts
• Communicate with clients and sales representatives via phone, email, and memos
• Place purchase orders, secure delivery dates, and monitor vendor billing for outside fabrication
• Purchase print plates and die boards according to specifications
• Create product designs, price quotes, print cards, and box diagrams
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate timely deliveries
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity
• Prepare sales reports, maintain records, and file expense reports
• Obtain credit information for prospective customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
