Job summary

Truist Financial is seeking a detail-oriented client service associate to provide timely completion of client transactions and maintain accurate records. You will engage clients, educate them on digital banking, and support outbound sales activities within a retail banking environment.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of branch operations, and adherence to risk controls, with potential for occasional travel and flexible hours based on branch needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
