Job summary

Truist in New Bern, NC is seeking a Regular Teller to provide timely client transactions, maintain accurate records, and deliver superior service while understanding clients' financial needs.

You will educate clients on digital banking options, assist with outbound calls, and support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities, with adherence to policies and a focus on risk controls. Weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use PC and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales via outbound calls and identify client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) concepts.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service skills.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
