Job summary

Truist Wealth in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring for a Regular teller/client service role focused on accurate processing of client transactions and thorough record keeping while delivering superior service to understand and meet each client’s financial needs.

The candidate will educate clients on digital banking tools, support the sales process, and follow risk controls and policies, with weekend and variable hours as required to meet branch demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel/overnights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous interactions and handling of complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service banking (ATMs, Online, Mobile).
• Participate in client outreach and identify opportunities, referring to branch team members as needed.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Engage in Retail Community Bank leadership routines and training.
• Advance product knowledge to serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
