Job summary

The role requires prior teller or client service experience, strong communication skills, PC proficiency, and willingness to travel or work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs; may include weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and handling transactions, including complex and standardized tasks.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound calls, checking offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training to improve knowledge and service.
• Attend product knowledge meetings and web-based training to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and comply with changes in guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling workload as branch demands.
