Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a friendly, client-focused teller to deliver a distinctive client experience across transactions and service interactions. You will educate clients on digital channels and support sales activities by identifying needs and guiding them to appropriate specialists.

This role requires good communication, the ability to multi-task under time constraints, and a willingness to work weekends or extended hours. Regular training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with friendly conversation and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by identifying client needs and referring to branch team members or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
