Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency seeks a Client Executive for the Select Accounts team in a hybrid role. You will service and retain a commercial book of business and support marketing and placement of new and renewal accounts, while leading a team when needed.

You’ll bring 3+ years of experience, a deep knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, and a valid Property & Casualty license. We offer generous benefits and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance industry (carrier, agency) laws, products, coverages and markets is essential.
• Review insurance policy documents to identify coverage placements, analyze policy forms and endorsements, and interpret key policy language to support accurate client service and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of insurance company working relationships, binding authority, procedures and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively service customers.
• Ability to proactively manage book of business and to develop relationships to retain accounts.
• Ability to evaluate the clients’ needs and negotiate with underwriters
• Be a self-starter; problem solver with good time management skills and the ability to be organized and meet deadlines.
• Property and Casualty license required.

Responsibilities
