Job summary

Varsity, a Treeline company, seeks a Client Engineer to handle escalations, remote and onsite support, and field deployments across the Portland metro area.

You will diagnose complex issues, manage M365 and macOS systems, and communicate clearly with executives and end users while traveling to client sites as needed. This role blends senior remote support with in-person client engagement in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT support experience in a managed services environment.
• Based in either Portland or New York metro area with reliable transportation.
• Strong hands-on M365 administration: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID/AAD.
• Advanced macOS support including security, deployment, and login issue resolution.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Knowledge of generative AI platforms with prompt techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive and resolve escalated tickets from Specialist I, owning the full lifecycle.
• Travel to client sites in the metro area for onsite deployments and issue resolution.
• Provide advanced macOS and M365 support across client environments.
• Communicate clearly with executives and end users, managing expectations.
• Document resolutions and maintain knowledge base for patterns.
• Manage multi-client environments and coordinate with network vendors when needed.
