Job summary

Varsity Technologies, part of Treeline, seeks a Client Engineer to handle complex IT issues across remote and onsite environments in the LA area. The role blends senior remote support with in-person client engagement, requiring clear communication across executives and end users, plus independent judgment and field readiness.

You will travel to client sites, deploy technology, resolve issues, and build strong relationships while managing ambiguity in both remote and field settings.

Qualifications

• Experience resolving escalated or complex issues in a managed services environment.
• Based in the Los Angeles metro area with reliable transportation for client visits.
• Hands-on M365 administration including tenant configuration and policy management.
• Advanced macOS support with security, deployment, and iOS integration.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Familiarity with generative AI platforms and prompts techniques.

Responsibilities

• Escalation resolution from Specialist I and root-cause analysis.
• Triage issues for remote versus onsite resolution and scope timelines.
• Onsite field support traveling across the LA metro area.
• Calibrate communication for managers, executives, and end users.
• Diagnose infrastructure-level issues including M365 and networking.
• Manage tasks in PSA and RMM platforms and document resolutions.
• Create comprehensive documentation of complex resolutions.
