Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients, handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.

Under guidance from branch leadership, you will deepen product knowledge, identify client needs, and refer opportunities to the appropriate partners. A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience are preferred, with bilingual ability a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and verbal and written instructions.
• Consistently demonstrates ability and willingness to build relationships with clients and other bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Accurately performs and supports daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch.
• Mitigate risk by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interacts with external and internal clients, anticipates needs, and provides proactive solutions.
