Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients in Wilsonville, Oregon. You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other cash transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, while building client relationships.

Under supervision, you will balance cash drawers, follow Breakthrough Client Service Standards, and stay compliant with banking policies. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a year of banking or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing, balancing cash drawer, etc.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Support branch goals by referring basic bank products to the business partner.
