Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Director for Business Insurance to oversee client relationships within a defined book-of-business and coordinate service delivery. You will work to understand client needs, maintain high retention, and participate in the sales process.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial lines with 3+ years in client management, and you will lead a team across Michigan locations, leveraging MMA's resources and network. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years in commercial lines with 3+ years of client management responsibilities.
• Experience establishing strategy and direction for commercial programs.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with timely client deliverables and strong problem solving.
• Strong organizational, project planning and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• State Property/Casualty insurance license required.

A day in the life.

As our Client Director on the Business Insurance team, you'll have overall responsibility for the client relationship within an assigned book-of-business. This involves establishing and maintaining excellent internal and external relationships, seeking and understanding the client's needs, and managing the team responsible for delivering all aspects of our services delivered. While the Client Director does not have direct new business sales responsibilities, they are expected to participate in the sales process, maintain a high client retention rate and maintain a book of business that meets or exceeds the target book of business size over time.

This role has the ability to work out of any of our Michigan locations - Grand Rapids, Troy, or Livonia.
