Job summary

Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Project Manager, Client Delivery to support the Talent Accelerator service delivery teams by managing the project structure, processes, tracking, reporting, coordination, and escalation needed to keep client-facing projects organized and moving forward.

This role provides the project management framework, operational visibility, and process consistency enabling teams to focus on delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a client-facing environment.
• Experience interfacing with business/industry/government executives.
• Experience in workforce development, technical training, manufacturing training, or learning and development environments.
• Familiarity with resource planning and portfolio management practices.
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate project data within organizational business systems and reporting platforms.
• Develops and distributes project status reports, dashboards, and portfolio-level reporting that provides visibility into progress, risks, capacity, and performance.
• Supports leadership with reporting and analytics related to project progress, resource utilization, delivery commitments, and operational metrics.
• Coordinates process-related activities across internal teams, training providers, and client stakeholders to support smooth handoffs and consistent communication.
• Applies traditional and Agile project management tools and routines to support project structure and team coordination.
• Supports consistent client communications in partnership with delivery leads and project teams.
