Job summary

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a Project Manager, Client Delivery to support the Talent Accelerator service delivery teams by managing the project structure, processes, tracking, reporting, coordination, and escalation needed to keep client-facing projects organized and moving forward.

This role provides the project management framework, operational visibility, and process consistency enabling teams to focus on delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a client-facing environment.
• Experience interfacing with executives in business, industry, or government.
• Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and BI applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate project data within organizational business systems and reporting platforms.
• Develops and distributes project status reports, dashboards, and portfolio-level reporting that provides clear visibility into progress, risks, capacity, and operational performance.
• Supports leadership with reporting and analytics related to project progress, resource utilization, delivery commitments, and operational metrics.
• Coordinates process-related activities across internal teams, training providers, and client stakeholders to support smooth handoffs and consistent communication.
• Applies traditional and Agile project management tools and routines, as appropriate, to support project structure, visibility, and team coordination.
• Escalates significant risks, concerns, or decision points to appropriate leaders with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ensures standardized project management processes, tools, routines, and expectations are followed across client-facing work.
• Monitors workloads, resource utilization, delivery commitments, and scheduling demands to provide operational visibility.
