Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Specialist - Client Delivery in our Kansas City, MO office. This on-site role serves as the primary operations partner for Labor & Employment attorneys, managing full lifecycle workflow, coordinating cross-functional teams, and handling email/administrative tasks to reduce attorney project-management burden and improve service delivery.

During training you will work onsite five days per week; after training, the role transitions to at least three days onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate professional/educational experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting organizational leadership, preferably in a professional services environment.
• 3+ years of legal assistant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with concise, solutions-oriented status updates and recommendations.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Typing speed of 60 wpm; transcription experience preferred.
• Proactive problem-solving and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manages full lifecycle workflow for assigned attorneys.
• Coordinate intake, conflicts checks, and engagement processes.
• Assist with time entry, billing inquiries, and collections.
• Coordinate client communications and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide general administrative support and calendar management.
• Prepare, edit, and format legal documents with high accuracy.
