Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Client Delivery Specialist (Legal Assistant) to act as the primary operational partner for assigned attorneys, managing workflow, coordination, and administrative support while reducing attorney workload.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years supporting leadership, and 3+ years of legal assistance. Hybrid capacity with onsite components at one of the firm’s locations may apply, and compensation aligns with Minnesota market ranges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
• 5+ years supporting organizational leadership, preferably in professional services.
• 3+ years of legal assistance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle workflow for assigned attorneys and coordinate priorities.
• Prepare conflict checks, intake, and engage processes for new matters.
• Assist with budgeting, time entry, and billing inquiries.
• Coordinate client communications and serve as liaison between attorneys and internal teams.
• Manage attorney inboxes, drafts and responds to emails, and organizes correspondence.
• Prepare, edit, format, and proofread legal documents with high accuracy.
• Share workflows and training tips to improve team effectiveness.
• Delegate tasks to ensure timely, quality work and coverage across portfolios.
• Identify process improvements and participate in AI/tech trainings.
