Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker who will deliver exceptional client experiences by following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will acquire new clients and expand relationships by asking questions, offering appropriate products, and referring clients to partners when needed, while uncovering consumer lending opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products.
• Ability to develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to obtain NMLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new relationships and expand existing ones by identifying client needs.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for clients.
• Refer clients to internal partners and support cross-sell.
• Handle cash transactions accurately when needed.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide proactive solutions.
• Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.
