Columbia Bank in Cambria, CA seeks a Personal Banker to deliver outstanding client experiences by following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will acquire new clients, expand relationships, and identify lending opportunities while referring to partners as needed.

You will open Consumer and Business accounts, support teller functions when required, and proactively resolve client questions with timely solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of Teller or other banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers.
• Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships utilizing a personal and business bio and rapport with customers.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent client service by acknowledging and offering appropriate products and services.
• Engage clients in client financial reviews to uncover needs and provide solutions.
• Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
• Maintain contact with clients and provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Assist Client Service Specialists and fill in teller functions when needed.
• Refer a wide range of bank products to internal partners.
• Resolve client issues with strong follow-through.
• Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.
