Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experiences and grow client relationships. You will acquire new clients, open consumer and business accounts, and originate loans with guidance where needed.

The role requires a year of banking experience, knowledge of consumer products, and the ability to handle cash and calculations. NMLS licensing within 60 days is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Teller or other banking experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying client needs and offering appropriate products.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Originate consumer loans independently and business loans with minimal assistance.
• Provide excellent client service and refer clients to internal partners as needed.
