Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Maryland seeks a Part Time Universal Banker to manage client transactions and deliver quality service. You will educate clients on digital banking, support outbound outreach, and leverage IRM to tailor solutions.

The role requires flexibility for weekends and extended hours and travel as needed. You will engage clients, uphold internal controls, and participate in branch leadership routines while expanding product knowledge through ongoing training and meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, handling transactions, and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process via outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge by attending training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
