Job summary

Truist is seeking an engaging bank associate to provide timely client transactions and excellent service. You will educate clients on digital banking tools and support sales through outreach while ensuring compliance with policies.

The role involves assisting with IRM activities, participating in leadership routines, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through training opportunities. Weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and to work weekends/extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and client needs identification.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend trainings to advance product knowledge and service skills.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
