Job summary

Truist Bank seeks a Regular, English-speaking teller/customer service associate to provide timely client transactions and accurate records. You will educate clients on digital banking and support outbound sales and IRM activities to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include handling standard and complex transactions with care, promoting self-service options, and adhering to internal controls while supporting branch operations and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software used for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions and ensuring accurate records.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through client outreach and identifying needs or referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Adhere to controls and policies to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and resolutions, handling workload as branch demands.
