Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular, full-time teller with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences in the Savannah area. You will handle a variety of transactions, guide clients through digital banking, and participate in outbound outreach to grow relationships.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, and a commitment to compliance and risk controls. Weekend and extended hours may be required, with potential travel between branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and performing complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales process by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring to branch team members when needed.
• Understand the Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) concept to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training to improve performance.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on policy changes.
